Paragliding is a wonderful sports activity that enables you not only to fly, but also to enjoy the exciting panoramic views underneath your feet. You can practise it all year long which will allow you to enjoy different landscapes every time. Should you think about the snow-capped mountains in the winter, the warm-coloured autumn, the picturesque spring or the hot sun beams in the summer, the experience is always worth it. The best places to do paragliding are the Swiss Alpes, Interlaken in Switzerland, the Dolomites in Italy, the Julian Alpes in Slovenia, the Rhone Alpes in France, Tyrol in Austria, Tenerife in Spain, and Sopot in Bulgaria. They are all convenient for both beginners and experienced paragliders.
As a female solo traveller, you can literally go hiking anywhere in Europe. We have chosen various routes that you can take to enjoy the hike. If you are interested in long-distance hiking, you can pick the Tour du Mont Blanc (170km). It will lead you through the peaks and valleys of the Western Alps and the stunning landscapes of France, Italy and Switzerland. Since the tour crosses high pathways, snow could be a problem. Therefore, we advise you to go between July and September. You will need approximately 2 weeks to complete this route.
Another route, which is the ultimate long-distance route you can take as a solo traveller, is El Camino De Santiago (800km). It consists of several routes, but the most popular starts in France and finishes in Spain (the Way of Saint James). This is a very famous pilgrimage way. Once you start walking, you will probably start rethinking your wishes and purpose in life. In the end, you should have achieved inner peace and purification of your soul. As a female solo traveller, this will be a nice way to strengthen the relationship with yourself. And who knows, you might even find your soulmate along the way. The duration of the route depends entirely on your own pace, but normally you can complete it in 30 days.
If you prefer short-distance hiking routes, you can take El Caminito del Rey (8km) in Andalucía, Spain. It takes 3 to 4 hours to be crossed. The route goes through unique natural surroundings, gorges, canyons and a large valley, along pathways and boardwalks. It starts from the Ardales lakes and finishes in Álora. El Caminito del Rey
